LiveTourAudio legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how LiveTourAudio collects, uses, shares, and protects information when guides, tour operators, guests, and website visitors use our services.
Effective July 27, 2026
Information we collect
Account information. When a guide creates an account, we collect information such as email address, account identifier, selected language, subscription status, and account preferences.
Tour and service information. We process tour identifiers, start and end times, listener counts, connection state, selected listener-page language, and operational events needed to create and run a live tour.
Device and diagnostics information. We may collect browser and device type, operating system category, approximate network performance, connection and reconnection events, microphone-permission outcomes, application errors, page views, referral information, and time spent on pages.
Location information. If a guide enables location sharing for a tour, we process the guide device's location so active listeners can find the group. Location permission is controlled by the guide's device and browser.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. LiveTourAudio receives customer, subscription, transaction, and payment-status information but does not store complete payment-card numbers.
Support and communications. We collect messages and contact information when someone contacts support, responds to an email, requests a refund, or provides product feedback.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, provide live tour audio, enforce listener and account limits, operate subscriptions and trials, show guide location when enabled, prevent misuse, investigate failures, respond to support requests, improve reliability, understand product usage, and comply with legal obligations.
We may send service messages about account confirmation, trial status, billing, security, support, and material policy changes. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe mechanism where required.
How we share information
We share information with service providers that help operate LiveTourAudio, including Amazon Web Services for infrastructure and authentication, Stripe for payments, Google Workspace and email-delivery providers for communications, and monitoring or analytics services configured for the product. These providers process information for the services they provide to us.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with the user's direction or consent. We do not sell personal information for money.
Guest information and guide responsibilities
Guests do not need a LiveTourAudio account. The service nevertheless processes connection, device, diagnostic, and active-listener information needed to deliver and monitor the tour. A guide's shared location is visible to people who possess the active tour link while the tour is running.
Tour operators are responsible for providing notices or obtaining consent required by their relationship with guests, employees, students, or visitors, particularly when using location sharing in workplaces, schools, museums, or regulated facilities.
Retention, security, and international processing
We retain account and subscription records while an account is active and as reasonably needed for billing, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and service improvement. Live operational records and detailed diagnostics may have shorter retention periods. Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and managed cloud-security services. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
LiveTourAudio is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You can control browser permissions such as microphone and location access through your device. Guides can choose whether to share location for a tour. You can unsubscribe from eligible marketing messages using the provided link.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how personal information is used. To make a request, email support@livetouraudio.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
Children, changes, and contact
LiveTourAudio is offered to tour operators and guides and is not directed to children under 13. Organizations using the service with school or youth groups are responsible for appropriate supervision, notices, and permissions.
We may update this policy as the product or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
