One-minute pre-tour check
Make sure your phone is ready for tour audio.
Connect headphones, play two short tones, and confirm that browser audio works before the group departs. The test does not use the microphone and requires no app or account.
What guests should check before a tour
- Connect and confirm headphones or the intended Bluetooth output.
- Raise media volume while the test sound is playing.
- Charge the phone and keep mobile data available unless the guide supplies Wi-Fi.
- Open the tour link in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android rather than an embedded social-media browser.
- Keep the live tour page open and tap Start audio after the guide begins.
Create a guest readiness link
Guides can create a language-specific check link and paste it into a booking confirmation, automated reminder, text message, or pre-arrival email. The link is free and does not require a LiveTourAudio account.
What the browser test can verify
The test confirms user-triggered browser audio and reports basic online and secure-page signals. Websites cannot reliably detect headphones or battery on every phone, and a web page cannot prove mobile coverage or background playback along the actual route.
